Teresa has extensive experience in the creative world and has focused on Set-Design, drawing, and painting throughout her career. Her ideas begin on a broad spectrum that encompass vast ranges of possibilities from designing elegant interiors, crafting solemn film sets, and arranging dazzling jewelry designs. In all her mediums, Teresa transforms concepts into striking visual imagery. Her designs and paintings explore an explosion of colors that serve as a visual stimulus of fun contrasts and produce a sense of tantalizing wonder for the viewer. Organic forms are the theme that completes Teresa's identity as an artist, and it has contributed to the profound changes experienced throughout her life. Born and raised in Caracas-Venezuela, Teresa graduated from “Central University of Venezuela” before beginning her career as an Architect. She moved to the USA where she has now established herself and continues to develop her artistic passions. Teresa believes in the sensitization and transformation of people through art. Therefore, she understands that aesthetic components of a city can carry enormous potential in the shaping and supporting of its community. She strives to exhibit this ideology in her work as an Architect and has even developed her credentials by pursuing complementing studies in City Management. Nature and the animal kingdom play a very important role in the result of each of her pieces. The process of introspection, inspiration and “to get carried away” when creating art, allows the expression of her identity through the brush. She has been rewarded for many significant achievements throughout her career, such as the honor of being named “Stage Designer of the Year” three times by Venezuela's renowned National organization of artists for her outstanding work in network TV. She was recognized for her teamwork in designing the multinational “Andes Amazonian Pavilion” by the Japan Association and presented with the gold- level Nature's Wisdom Award at its “Expo 2005 Aichi”, Japan. In 2019, Teresa exhibited her paintings at the Conception Art Show in Houston, TX and at the TBH Center in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
